History

Antonio Porpiglia S.A. - Matexsur, a company that recycles and commercializes textile fibers, is set up as a family business of three generations in the district of Batán, Buenos Aires Provincem in 1970.

Through the years, we have been incorporating machines, growing vertically to encompass all the production cycle, from the recycling of the fabric to the end product. In this way, reasserting our commitment with the environment.

As from the year 2000, we have incorporated an Own-brand division to supply the main chains of the country, offering a ready-to-sell-product with its own signature.

In 2006, we implemented a quality management system NORMAS ISO 9001-2008, for all the production processes in the plant. We were the first company to successfully qualify for that standard.

Due to our modernization of machines and growth in our commercial area, we have expanded our activity to neighbouring countries for more than 10 years.

Nowadays, we are constantly researching and analyzing new developments that allow us to improve the quality and efficiency of our products, so as to successfully face the challenges that this ever changing and always demanding market imposes on us.
